APPLICATION:
HMWPE w/ Halar Jacket Cathodic Protection Wire is a direct earth burial or submersible copper wire that withstands corrosive gases that can be found in anode ground-beds, marine cathodic protection systems & etc.

STANDARD:

1. Conductor: Stranded bare copper conductor conforms to ASTM specification 8-8.
2. Insulation: A homogenous wall of natural ECTFE fluoropolymer Halar shall be extruded over the conductor.
3. Jacket: Insulation is high molecular weight polyethylene conforming to ASTM D-1248, type 1, class A, category 5, grades E4 and E5. Tensile strengths J1, J3. Available with high-density polyethylene (type II, III, IV.) class B and C (all colors). Surface printed. Custom printing is available.
